Join us in a magnificent full-moon hike, along the rugged and beautiful coastline of the Agios Ioannis Detis Peninsula at the Paros Environmental Park near Naoussa!
Experience a memorable sunset and moon rise, as well as the magic of night walking under this month’s ‘Super Moon”, the bightest of the year! Explore the rugged, spectacular landscapes of Paros Environmental Park in the special atmosphere of dusk & moonlight, and enjoy a light wine picnic with fresh & local food at the 19th c. stone-built lighthouse of Cape Korakas, with the best panoramic night views to the island’s interior and surrounding islands from high above the cliffs!
A relatively easy tour, however on rocky footpaths & in reduced light conditions, suitable only to fit participants – 7km, 4h (total activity time), net elevation gain/loss +/-70 m. During the hike, we will follow safe-distancing rules and observe safety measures against the spread of Covid-19 infection -partcipants will be asked to sign a Covi-19-related waiver statement.
